The New Studio project is underway and will be completed by Christmas (I hope). It will feature 32 track mixing and operate via Cubase.
2 Rooms just, but that's all I need. Sound proofing and insulation is taking the time - I don't want BAA 472 to London roaring over the top of the quiet bits!
Concentrating on Quality rather than quantity, and making the rooms comfortable both musician and engineer is important, and space is tight so need to get it right. The roof has been replaced and sound board installed together with secondary layer of insulation to allow for lighting sound escape. Wiring looms are ready to be installed after door between desk and live room is complete. A great fun project that is taking up most of my time at the moment.
Sticking with KRK Rokit Studio monitors, which have served me well for the last few years - I may upgrade to RP8's depending on money!
Recording will be to i3 powered PC running W7 Professional and having XP professional available, so there should be no latency problems.
Also will install couple of keyboards (one is an M Audio) and will have some brass also available - Trombone Trumpet and Sax !

The gantry makes another appearance at LiviAid, as well as twin Bose 802's and a cracking Orange amp and Cabinet!

We also provide all linkage to your own cabinets and amps, and top quality microphones for that all important individual sound you are looking to obtain, or if you wish, start off your recording with the drum track run from our Roland V Drum or Pearl percussion Kit.
